We know our time frames don’t always suit everyone’s project deadlines which can be a letdown if you have your heart set on an Everlong design. This is where our design only service comes in handy. We will give you the Everlong experience and provide you with everything you need to obtain accurate quotes through other manufacturers.
We know what it takes to make a kitchen that works, but we don’t know what it takes to make one that works for you…that’s why our design process is so important to us.
Just like the joinery we build, Everlong isn’t run of the mill. We commit to delivering one off kitchen designs using cutting edge design concepts and knowledge combined with old school craftmanship and attentive service.
When we say we build your joinery around you, we mean it in every sense.
The kitchen is the heart of the home so we understand that it is a huge decision to put your trust into someone to bring your dream to life. We are here to lead you through the whole process from beginning right to the very end.
The best time to get the ball rolling is in the early planning stages of your build or renovation and after you have worked out how much you have to spend. First things first, we will send you out a questionnaire in advance that will cover a lot of the information we will require, this will help save time in our initial meeting and use the time for more exciting topics to be discussed. It is also super helpful if you are able to send us images of your design style in advance also so that we can see the direction your are looking to head in.
Our initial one on one appointment can either be in our showroom (this option will generally give you the most out of your appointment) or in your home. We will generally discuss things such as your family, your style, how you use the space, your personal tastes, your appliances, materials, your timing and your budget.
We offer a free quotation service if we are provided with details joinery plans & specifications.
For design & quotes we charge a charge a modest, initial design fee of $500.00 for all in home or showroom design appointments regarding a kitchen alone, $1,000.00 for projects that require a larger scope of works such as a new build with multiple rooms requiring joinery design and specification. The costs of which will be credited off the cost of any project you undertake with us.
Our design only service fee is $1,000 for a single space such as a kitchen & $5,000.00 for a larger scope of works such as a new build with multiple rooms requiring joinery.
An initial one on one design appointment either in your home or in our showroom. The preparation of a return design brief consisting of 3D rendered conceptual development of your proposed design accompanied by a proposed material selection and official quotation.
For those that proceed with our design only service, following our initial design appointment and upon finalising the proposed design, you will receive detailed 3D rendered concepts of each space along with dimensioned plans & specification documentation. This documentation will include all aspects of the Interior design proposal including suggestions for furnishings, lighting, etc. This package will provide you with everything you need you to obtain detailed quotations from suppliers and manufacturers.
We will quite literally draw on our experience as we hone in on our briefing and produce a return design brief, a proposed materials selection, an official quotation and ofcourse the most exciting part, the initial conceptual 3D rendered design. We can arrange a second meeting in our showroom to present these to you and also give you a digital copy for you to look over at home. We will also go through materials selections in this meeting as well. Of course you may like to make some changes to the design and that’s fine too, we will work with you until you are completely in love with your dream kitchen and we will adjust the quotation as we go.
Once you are 100% happy with your design, materials selection and quotation, it is time to book in your installation date and pay your 10% deposit.
Following this, we will meet in our showroom again, this time to finalise the materials and document these in to the final contract which will become the bible for your kitchen manufacture.
Measure twice, cut once. Its time we do our check measure, this will generally take place in a new build once the framework is up and in a renovation we will just be checking either your original measurements or double checking ours,
either way it will make you and us feel 100% confident. At this stage we will ask for your second progress payment of 40%.
Sign on the dotted line…….
Having check measured the space, we will then produce our construction plans so they are millimeter perfect to ensure our installation will fit precisely in the available space. We will send our working drawings to you for your final approval. This will enable us to begin ordering the materials.
